Doesn't the 460m and 5870 and probably the 285m except for DX11 outperform the 555m? Seems a step sideways or back in the gpu department and puts in direct comparison with the dell xps 17 3d which has a 120hz screen and can likely be had for the same or less than this will likely go for.

Yep, I would have thought a 6870 at least... its still a downgrade from the 5870 in the 660s but it fits the pattern of going back and forth between ATI and Nvidia cards. Now a 6970 would be a fantastic update. It seems like their just shuffling graphics cards through the unit with little if any benefit.

Yeah, unless they intend to release to a certain area/place/country, i suppose they could dub releases of the 6 series msi's as many times as they like.

So in around 6 months they are going to release a laptop with even WORSE graphics than the 460m?
