Audio issues - Samsung Theater & BlueRay Receiver HT-BD1250T

I recently received the HT-BD1250T Samsung Home Theater and Blue Ray player as a gift. I've been using the unit for about a week and I have noticed a number of issues with the audio. I am curious if anyone has had similar issues or have solutions for it. I have had a decent experience with Samsung TVs, but I have to say that the quality of their other products is pretty disappointing.

1) Pandora - It works fine and after a song it shuts off. The connection is still active and streaming, its just the audio which cuts out. I have a wired connection (not using wireless) that goes direct to my router (again, connection is active, just an audio issue

2) Playing audio from TV - I have an optical wire feed from my TV to the unit. After about 30 minutes, the audio cuts out. This only seems to happen when I am on the music channels on my cable box. I have no issues watching "regular" TV and movie channels.

Thanks for your

theplatypusguy,

Have you applied the latest firmware for the HT-BD1250?

The download and installation instructions can be found on the Samsung.com support site.
