Very impressive indeed. Too bad that 8460w doesn't have Dreamcolor as an option. Also, what's up with the red/orange pointing stick? Thinkpad ripoff.

I am drooling but definitely can not afford one with DreamColor monitor. It will be between 8560w and thinkpad W520. And thinkpad will win on price tag.

Very strange that the 8760w will release with a weaker ATI GPU than the 8740w, especially given that the nvidia options will no doubt continue to cost an arm and a leg.

The most disappointing part is the average power consumption:
nw8240: 28.5 W
nw8440: 39 W
8510w: 12.5 W
8530w: 26 W
8540w: 27 W
8560w: 42 W
Not much of a problem for 17" users, but I guess the smaller models are more often used with the battery as the power source.
